Samantha Bee and Jason Jones are celebrating a major milestone together: their 25th wedding anniversary.

Bee celebrated the occasion with an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, Oct. 13, featuring a black-and-white throwback from the couple’s 2001 wedding. In the snap, Bee, 56, laughs while Jones, 53, smiles at her. “25 years married and we’re still laughing ❤️,” Bee captioned the post.

Bee told Cracked in a 2007 interview that she and Jones met while performing in a children’s theater production in Canada around 1996, and began dating a year later.

“People that work in children’s theater are bitter, and we were no exception to that,” she told the outlet at the time. “That’s what brought us together, really. Once you discover that the people you’re working with hate the show as much as you do, everybody relaxes.”

The couple tied the knot in 2001 and welcomed three children together: daughter Piper, 20, son Fletcher, 18, and daughter Ripley, 15.

Bee served as the longest-running correspondent on Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show from 2003 to 2015. Jones joined the late-night show as a contributor in 2005 and was later promoted to a correspondent, a role in which he also remained until 2015.

Following their departure from The Daily Show, the couple collaborated on Bee’s own show, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. Jones served as a producer, and the show ran from 2016 to 2022 on TBS. The pair also co-created The Detour, which aired on the same network from 2016 to 2019.
